The Technology Behind The Big Putt
The diameter of The Big Putt is 16 percent larger than a regulation golf ball, but it has precisely the same feel as a tournament-quality ball. Mis-hits are magnified and provide immediate feedback, and the larger ball promotes a smooth stroke and requires the golfer to accelarate through impact. The result is razor-sharp performance when the match is on the line.
How to Use The Big Putt
Here are some putting drills to use with your Big Putt golf balls. They are designed to maximise the effectiveness of The Big Putt ensuring that you're getting the most out of the product.
Drill No. 1 - Hit three putts from two feet away with The Big Putt, then move back three feet, four feet, five feet and six feet. Concentrate on making a smooth stroke and accelerating through impact. Then replace The Big Putt with a regulation ball and repeat the drill. You'll find the target looks huge, your confidence is sky-high and putt after putt will roll into the hole.
Drill No. 2 - A variation on the drill above is to alternate three putts from two feet with The Big Putt and then strike three putts with a regulation ball. Then move back three feet, four feet and so on. It's also a great idea to practice short putts with left-to-right breaks and then right-to-left breaks.
Drill No. 3 - The Big Putt is also excellent for improving your feel (longer putts in the 20 to 40-foot range). Alternate rolling three putts from 20 feet with The Big Putt then three putts with a regulation ball. Then move back to 30 feet and repeat, then from 40 feet and repeat. You'll develop your distance control, resulting in a shorter second putt!
